hello!

TS format converter tool is very useful for me and I use it often to convert TS format in MKV format.
Unfortunately for me, hard-of-hearing, subtitle tracks are removed from the output file.
Concerning MKV format it seems that it allows subtitles tracks of any format.
Perhaps these tracks may be simply copied by TSDoctor2 on the MKV file...
What do you think about that?

Best wishes

Try to convert subtitles to SRT format and use TS Format-Converter (with MKVtoolnix installed) to convert to MKV including subtitles.

mnd

Yes I know and I do it.
But it adds a step in the convert process.
Thank you for your quick reply though it don't help me very much..

Best wishes

...and I must save TS on BD disk because TS (DVB-S2) files are 10 to 20 Gb and more...
Moreover my home media players don't play Ts file...

Cypheros

Strange, most media player can playback TS files because is't the most common format.

Hi

Yes all my PCs do it, but no one of my home players.
Neither my Pioneer BDP-150 nor my TV Panasonic TX-LF32E30 don't know straight these format.

Only your picture for the Pioneer TS-Format is listed.
Strange. I see the two pages with my browser (Seamonkey).
Also with waterfox (firefox 64x) and Internet Explorer 11..

You could try m2ts, too. TS-Doctor 2.0 can write TS or M2TS. M2TS is an extended TS container used for blurays.
